And thank you for visiting the Caledonian Hotel Website. We hope that you are tempted to visit us when you are in the Loch Ness area. This small Highland Hotel has been run by the MacLellan family since 1978.
SEASON
The Hotel Opens Every Year on Good Friday (Friday the 21st of March) and closes end of October.  
ABOUT THE HOTEL
The Hotel provides Bed and Breakfast Accommodation (B and B) (B&B), accommodation only, or Dinner Bed and Breakfast. It is situated on the A82 in the village of Fort Augustus at the south end of Loch Ness. In addition to being on the shore of Loch Ness, the village has the Caledonian Canal running through its centre. There are, as a result, ample opportunities for water based sports and activities. The Hotel has its own Bowling and Putting Green.
SPECIAL GOLF BREAKS
In conjunction with Fort Augustus Golf Course, we can arrange special dinner, bed and breakfast package including two days golf on the Fort Augustus Course.

FINDING US
If you are not travelling by car then it is probably best to travel to Inverness which has good air, rail and coach links from the South. There is a regular bus service from Inverness to Fort Augustus. The journey takes around one hour.
BY ROAD: From Edinburgh via Forth Bridge (M9), the road goes around Perth, and you then continue on the A9 to Dalwhinnie. From Dalwhinnie you travel to Spean Bridge and turn onto the Fort Augustus Inverness road.
Travelling from the West of Scotland, Glasgow area, you take the A82 road via Loch Lomond and simply keep on this road all the way to Fort Augustus.
